ATMA Energy, Inc., San Antonio, TX seeks Solar and Battery Design Engineer I to Design the layout and configuration of solar photovoltaic (PC) arrays considering factors such as site conditions, sun angles, shading, and structural integrity to optimize energy production.
Analyze the structural requirements for supporting solar panels on roofs and detached structures.
Design mounting structures, foundations, and support systems to ensure the stability and durability of solar arrays, considering factors such as wind loads, snow loads, and seismic conditions.
Oversee the installation, assembly, and commissioning of solar energy systems.
Ensure that components are installed correctly, systems are properly aligned, and operational tests are conducted to verify performance.
Contribute to the ongoing operation and maintenance of solar energy systems.
Perform periodic inspections, trouble shooting, and maintenance tasks to ensure the continued reliability and performance of mechanical components and systems.
Minimum requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical, Civil, or Mechanical Engineering, or related.
